You can still play CS:GO after CS2 release
After the official release of CS2, CS:GO has been automatically removed from your Library. However, you can still play the old version of Counter-Strike.
Here’s how you do it:
- Find the Steam Library
- Right-click on Counter-Strike 2 and choose Properties
- Click on Betas and choose Legacy Version of CS:GO from the drop-down menu.
The game will now start to download. When the download is finished, load Counter-Strike as you would normally and select Legacy Version of CS:GO from the menu.
